Jesper Parnevik, the Swedish golfer, introduced Tiger Woods to his wife said today that he thought the world number one “was a better guy than he is”. Jesper Parnevik spoke out after Woods confessed to a number of “transgressions” in his personal life following a car crash outside his home. Parnevik said he owed Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, an apology as it was he who introduced the American to her while she was working as his au pair in 2001. Parnevik told the Golf Channel: “I would be especially sad about it – I really feel sorry for Elin – since me and my wife were at fault for hooking her up with him. “We probably thought he was a better guy than he is.
